Using Gmail as your client
To use Gmail to retrieve your mail, you first need a Gmail account. Follow the instructions here to obtain a free Gmail account.
Log in to Gmail at http://mail.google.com
After logging into Gmail, go to settings.
We will need to add some information under the "Accounts" tab (optionally, you may choose to forward your gmail address to a different address)
First is the "Accounts" tab. Here, you'll need to add an email address (make sure that "Reply from the same address the message was sent to" is checked)
Add the email address in the space provided
Input the other pertinent information on the following screen. and click "Add Account".
 You will receive a confirmation email to your email address that you will need to access and confirm. To do this, login at http://webmail.1and1.com and use the instructions here . |
